Electric Cars
It seems that we're hearing more and more about electric cars, and that the technology is becoming more accessible.
Checkout this video of a 72 Datsun converted to Electric beating all at the Drag strip open day.
Time for Electrician to return
All the power points are now ready to be finalised, although there is a bit of lining still to do, all the points are covered and ready to go.

Slab finished!
Went out to finalise the wall lining in the shed, and we have a slab!

More building progress
They've got the pipes into the slab.. Woooo starting to get some real action.
And some more pics of inside the shed. All the doors are hung now, just need to finish lining the inside of the rooms now. Shower, toilet etc should be fitted Tuesday we think.
Christmas parade!
One of Deb's friends owns a costume shop, so we volunteered to be in the Christmas parade to help here out. See som pics attached.

Some more progress pictures. Plumbers back soon, then Electrician returns and it will be livable.
Wall cladding
Started cladding the walls of one bedroom today, did all the outside, except for the bit where the door is going. Doors arrive this week, so should be able to put them in next weekend.
Plumbing should be this/next week, electrical shortly as well for some powerpoints and lights.
More walls and a front step
We spent the day working on more walls today, and Deb made a front step from some sleepers we had lying around. Dogs romped around for a while, then relaxed, Kids went over to the big tree and finished off their cubbyhouse.
Wall building in the shed
Having a couple of weeks off at the moment to build out the walls in the Shed where we'll be living while the house is built. This is some pics of the work so far. Since these, we've jioned the walls to the shed directly, which straightens things up a bit. The plumber is coming end of this week. No, its not "Joe the plumber".. ;-)
