| Slob |
Fast paced action about an abnormally gifted (and psychotic) soldier and the rampage he takes, in contrast with the alchoholic cop who is pursuing him. Not a bad read. |

| Vampire of the Mists |
A vampire novel which is part of the Ravenloft series. A slightly different take on the Vampire novel, with an Elf vampire. Reasonably readable throughout, ended a bit weirdly though. Almost like a TV show or Movie where they feel they have to leave it open for a comeback. Might have been better to just finish it off. |

| Ghostmaker |
This is the first of the Gaunts Ghosts novels, which are part of the Warhammer 40,000 series. It introduced the Ghosts, and their homeworld Tanith, along with a lot of the characters that I'm sure will feature in the rest of the series. The battle scenes were well described, but it almost felt like a bunch of short stories. The final story/chapter was the best, and introduced Lilith & the Eldar, which I hope reappear later. |

| The Deadliest Game |
Nearly finished my supply of the Net Force Explorer books, but this one has a reasonable description of an online adventure type game which kept it interesting. It seems that in almost all of these books, one of the Explorers goes slightly outside the limits they're supposed to, succeeds anyway, gets told off by the Net Force guy - James Winters, but is still allowed to stay on the force because what they did was such an excellent job. |
July 2008 | Steve Pieczenik, Tom Clancy |
| Runaways |
The final Net Force Explorers book I have, a lot more "real world" with this one, not a bad story, but very similar to the others. |
July 2008 | Steve Pieczenik, Tom Clancy |
| Virtual Vandals |
Vandalisation in the virtual world, interesting idea. |
July 2008 | Steve Pieczenik, Tom Clancy |
| Own Goal - Tom Clancys Net force explorers |
Another of the Net force explorer series, its interesting to read some of the different things the various authors have put into their Virtual Reality experiences |
July 2008 | Diane Duane |
| Cloak and Dagger |
Another Net force explorer book, kids got into a bit more trouble, a bit closer to danger. Not bad. |
July 2008 | John Helfers, Russell Davis |
