Paving done

We finally got the paving done around our house.

This will make the outside much more usable for BBQ's etc this year.

W00t.

Now just have to put back all the fences and start working on landscaping.

Husky parts arrived

Still have to get a gasket kit, then a busy weekend assembling the beast.

Fingers crossed I can find all the bits!

More than 9 years using and programming with Drupal

Oh wow, I was just updating issues on the erp project, and happened to notice that my user profile says 9 years and 4 days  since I joined drupal.org.

Given that I was already getting into Drupal before drupal.org even existed, that means i've been using this CMS for a Looooooong time.

Moved in!

Probably not the most fun long weekend i've had, but we are now moved into our new house. Have a couple of kitchen fixes going on today/tomorrow, then we move in the fridge/freezer and can call it totally moved, but we're sleeping in new bedrooms.

Wooho.

Newscientist article on Earth after a massive Carbon spike

Interestingly, this article is talking about Millions of years timescales. Quite interesting.

Kangaroo

The other morning, there was a Kangaroo on our block.

Deb took some pictures, Shelby chased it (last pic).

It hopped right across the property!

Bloody Telemarketers!

Just had a call centre guy from "Telko" - http://www.telko.com.au/ - I guess it was.

Very persistent with the "We can save on your local, long distance, you name it calls".

When will these sort of companies get a clue.

I can only guess that the profits from selling telephony services must be obscene for the sheer amount of these that we get.

I'm tempted to just say "yes" to all of them, and churn, churn, churn for a lark. Maybe not with the business line, however.

Anyway, dont give them the time of day!
